About

Finance & Business Academy Limited

Finance & Business Academy Limited (FBA) is a UK-based education consultancy and student-support organisation specialising in higher education student recruitment, university admissions and application support.

We support Home and international students who are considering higher education in the UK. Our role is to help students understand their available study options, identify suitable universities and courses, prepare and progress their applications, and receive guidance throughout the admissions journey.

FBA works with universities, higher education providers and recruitment partners to connect prospective students with appropriate study opportunities. Our aim is to make the admissions process clearer, more accessible and better supported, while ensuring students receive accurate information and understand the requirements and next steps associated with their chosen institution and course.

With offices in London and Birmingham, our team supports students from initial enquiry through to application, interview, offer and enrolment.

Who We Are

Finance & Business Academy Limited is an independent student recruitment and education consultancy operating within the UK higher education sector.

Our work is focused on supporting students rather than delivering academic programmes ourselves. We do not operate as a university or awarding body. Academic programmes, teaching, assessment, admissions decisions, tuition fees and academic regulations remain the responsibility of the relevant university or education provider.

Our role is to provide professional admissions support and act as a link between prospective students and higher education providers.

We recognise that applying to university can involve many decisions, including choosing the right subject, understanding entry requirements, deciding where and how to study, preparing supporting documents and completing the application process. Our advisers help students navigate these stages in a structured and informed way.

What We Do

We provide students with practical support throughout the university admissions process. Our team considers each student’s educational background, study interests, preferred location, circumstances and future plans before discussing suitable opportunities.Where appropriate, we also liaise with universities and education providers regarding applications, outstanding requirements, interview arrangements, application outcomes and enrolment processes. Our support is designed to help students make informed decisions while ensuring that the university or education provider remains responsible for the final admissions decision.

Our Approach

At FBA, we believe that effective student support begins with understanding the individual.Rather than simply presenting a list of courses, our advisers seek to understand a student’s previous education, current circumstances, preferred area of study, location preferences and future objectives. This allows us to discuss opportunities that are relevant to the student’s circumstances.

We also recognise that students may return to education at different stages of life. Some applicants may be progressing directly from previous study, while others may be mature learners returning to higher education after several years of employment or other responsibilities.
Our approach is therefore based on clear communication, individual guidance and continuing support throughout the admissions process.

Supporting Home Students

FBA supports Home students from a wide range of educational and professional backgrounds.
Our advisers can help prospective students explore university opportunities, understand general entry requirements and identify courses and study arrangements that may be appropriate for their circumstances.

Where students may be eligible to apply for Student Finance, FBA can provide general guidance on the administrative application process and direct them to the appropriate official resources.
FBA does not determine Student Finance eligibility, entitlement or funding amounts. These decisions are made solely by the relevant Student Finance authority.

Supporting International Students

We also support international students interested in pursuing higher education opportunities in the UK.
Our admissions team can help students explore available institutions and courses, understand university application requirements, prepare applications and respond to admissions-related requirements issued by the institution.

FBA provides university admissions and application support. Where an international student requires personalised immigration or visa advice that falls within regulated immigration advice, the student should obtain advice from an appropriately authorised immigration adviser.
This distinction helps ensure that students receive the appropriate professional support for both their university application and any separate immigration requirements.

Working With Universities and Education Providers

An important part of FBA's work is maintaining professional relationships with universities, higher education providers and recruitment partners.
These relationships help our team remain informed about available programmes, intake periods, locations, entry requirements and admissions processes.

Our admissions, partnerships, marketing and business-development teams work together to support student recruitment activities and maintain effective communication with education providers.
We aim to ensure that information provided to prospective students is clear and that applications submitted through FBA are properly prepared and managed throughout the admissions process.

Our Commitment to Students

Our aim is not simply to help students submit an application. We want students to understand the opportunity they are considering and the steps involved in progressing their application.
We are committed to providing professional, respectful and transparent support throughout the student journey.

Students remain responsible for providing accurate information and genuine documentation, while universities and education providers retain responsibility for their admissions decisions, academic programmes and institutional requirements.
